Wolffish growth rate???

Just wondering if someone could help me out here???Are they slow growers or fast???Also has anyone ever got thier Wolf to accept Shrimp or Smelt???I was shocked when mine did(especially when i was told at the LFS that he only ate "live"feeeders).

Wolffish grow very fast. They eat almost everything including shrimp and fish. Mine prefer beefheart to either.

i think they will grow about a inch a month on the norm, as long as they are fed well and water quality is good. i am having trouble getting mine off live food. Pretty much worms and feeders. Tried beefheart and no luck yet.

Just stop feeding for a couple of days and then put in a thin strip a bit shorter thean the wolf.
Let it sink from the surface so that the wolf ees it, or better hold and wiggle it. Watch your fingers! Mine eat pieces of BH half their own size, evry single day!

i have done that, he just spits it out. and yes i thaw it out.

Probably it is not hungry enough. I use fresh BH.

I starved mine for like 2 days,then he attacked the shrimp!!!

where you get fresh bh? i get the frozen one at my lfs.

In a supermarket. I live in Buenos Aires though.
Also Argentine BH might be the tastiest in the world. I alway plan on trying it myself. It's very healthy.
