At my lfs,i noticed a wolffish by himself.i know wolffish are aggresive,but i really want him.It was labeled red wolffish.Has anybody kept these?Diet?I jst need some info,cause i dont want to impulse buy.

get about 8" and very aggressive towards anything smaller than itself. Will not tolerate any other red wolves around usually. Could live in a 55-75g tank. Mine did well before with bichirs and catfish. Anything bigger than it should be fine as long as it doesn't look at the wolf as food. Takes live feeders, frozen foods, and pellets. Others can put more info in.
not to active you could go with a 20 long for a while and a 40 breeder for life they they are sometimes aggressive and don't mind being alone so chose cheap tank mates
Dude lol goodluck you may find one thats cool and swims and fun or you can find one like mine that doesnt move at all but when u turn off the lights goto sleep wake up everyday another fish is missing....
The 1 they have also seems to hide in pvc pipe all day.but during the afternoon it sometimes comes out.Also can they catch something faster than it?Thanks for all teh anwsers too!!
lol eventually a fish will forget he could be food and get wrapped up quickly... Chances are if you get a lazy or shy wolf fish... You would have to starve it to see it eat... I got a second one as a mate for him thinking he needed a buddy the second i got was so energetic always swam around laid next to my guy sometimes then when i came swam around more... Woke up to see him by the front door. Funny guy tried to escape my mother put him back in the tank cuz i was sleep... Wolf fish number 2... RIP
