Have wolfish jumped out of your tanks? My mala jumped out of a 125 he is only 6" and the gap was maybe 2.5" but the tank was only
Half filled he's back in and ok just a little shocked.

It happens quite often more than u think. Polys and ropefish are more notorious. Get some floating plants and dim the light a bit and that should help. Oh...close the gaps.

Also can lower the water level too.

Yeah I closed the gaps off and I thought I wouldve found my bichirs on the floor but that little guy goes crazy sometimes when he wants. Lights are off most of the time. I'm just going to make sure he has no escape route from now on.

Can leave the lights on if u get some floating plants. It'll dim it by itself and keep ur wolf more comfortable. I use fake floating duck weed and no need to worry about keeping it alive.

I have pvc tubes and some logs I haven't got my sand yet so I haven't done too much but I will be soon. He hides in there though.

When I had my old mala he was a thick foot long guy, jumped out of a 1 inch gap. There's no way he'd squeeze through, when they hit it with force it lifts and this helps, but a 6 incher can definitely get out of 2.5 inches of space.

Yeah but the wolf is usually calm I recently put this catfish in the tank thing does not stop swimming in a new tank with an extra two feet I'm sure he got spooked by the catfish so I'm going to get rid of him. But all holes are covered now lights are off for the moment.
