WOMAN BEGS FOR LIFE DURING BEAR ATTACK!!

A 63 year old woman was attacked by a black bear outside of her home in rural Maryland.The bear ambushed and attacked the woman and backed off after breaking the woman's arm and leg as well as causing other injuries but the woman had enough wherewithal to get her cell phone out and dial 911.
During the 911 conversation the woman is heard describing her injuries,saying that she cannot move and begging the dispatcher to send help.....she also said that the bear was just a few feet away and was moving back towards her.

I hope someone reached her in time before more damage is done.

She was rescued in time as I understand it.My apologies for not being able to provide a link.I heard this on the news this morning and I'm sure there has to be a good link out there.....someone feel free to post it.
The replay of that 911 conversation was just chilling.

Yeah I bet, my worst dreams are Grizzlies. Once in awhile there will be a Black Bear that crossed over from P.A. into Ohio. I have the greatest respect for people who live among Bears.

Poor old lady. Sucks they killed the bear too.
We have coyetes out here and I've read they can be pretty aggressive and they intimidating when they're in a big group but a freaken bear in my back yard... scary.
 
Wow, that's crazy.....but why would she go outside in the dark to see why her dog was barking? It could've been anything. If it would've been a burglary it could've ended the same way if not worse.
