Wondering how big can my Pleco grow too.

Hi guys i have two pleco in my tank am not sure about their names and also what size will they be able to grow and how long they will take to grow. I heard they are slow growers.

wow nice plecos..one looks like a royal and the other a gold nugget..but i am just quessing.. some one will help you better.. the better the water quality and frequent water changes..and the more room they have the faster their growth.. then add in the quality of their diet.. and they can grow pretty fast.. but for some reason i never notice growth on plecos.. they are all of a sudden big...

i have one and they get big quick. Like red devil said it depends on how much food and water quality. I heard of pp buying them at 3inches and getting 1.5 feet in 2years. Don't know if its true though

One looks like a L191(Royal "broken Line" ~9" max) I dont know what the other one is though Green Phantom?

I'm not firmiliar with all of the panaque's but the other one is not a gold nugget. It looks like a green phantom to me. I think they go to about 6" but I'm sure if WyldFya stumbles upon this thread he'll give you some more accurate info on them

I am just worried my pbass and RTC and TSN eats them if they don't grow fast enough. My TSN is @ 3-4" and my RTC is about 2-3" pbass is about 4". Am not worried about the dats though am sure they are slow.

Well if it is L191 than it wont get as big as regular L90....And googling Green Phantom it gets max 6" so it wont work with RTC/TSN/PBASS

The L191 will get around 11" i think, so it may be safe with everything except the rtc and tsn, but im not sure.
Other one is def an L200.

L200 is used for 2 species, Hemiancistrus subvridis and Baryancistrus demantoides. The Hemi is larger at 25cm/10" and the Bary smaller at 20cm/8". I don't know how fast they grow, but would guess 2-3" a year. Panaque sp. L191 have the potential grow 50cm/20" (and probably more), again I don't know how fast they grow but I've had similar fish (L027, L190) grow between 1-3" a year.
