Epsom salt bath, about 25% wc every 2-3 days

You may need to inject him with the epsom salt solution in the stickies above if he's not eating. Epsom salt in the tank will not get it into the stomach where I'm assuming the problem is. I would suggest soaking some pellets in the solution and get a 1ml syringe or pipette with a soft tip. He's big enough where the syringe will fit. Fill the syringe with the soaked pellets and solution and get it into his stomach. The big thing is making sure you actually got it all the way in. If not, it won't help him any.

I like that idea better if you can get equipiments. I hold the fish upward to the surface of the water with mouth open and do it in few seconds. No need to take fish, lay on towel with blankets and heaters.

I never understood the soaking the food to feed them. How they eat the med laced food if their problem was a
'not wanting to eat" problem.

lol Be gentle n careful that with the tip you stick in the fish make sure it's not any sharp, not to go too far in, and not to pump too much too fast. Tilt fish upwards. GL
