OK, so next summer I'm planning on building a monster tank.
I want to make it about 9' long, by 3' wide, by 2' or 3' deep.
It will be 2X4 and plywood frame. Viewing panels on the front will either be plexi or glass....
I was wondering, how safe and reliable would it be to use glass from a 125gallon tank? I believe the glass is about 3/4" thick. I would use the 6' piece for the center panel, and then the two smaller 18" X 22" pieces on either side of that, so that from the front you have a big center window with 2 smaller windows on either side of it. I'm trying to keep cost down as much as possible here and would prefer to use used stuff if I can get away with it.
