Wood Identification

Found this piece of wood on the beach and was wondering what kind of wood it is and if it’s aquarium safe.

Not sure what kind of wood it is, but i know the bark will shed off it all over the tank within the first few days. Best bet is to peel all the bark, and presoak the wood for a while

Take bark off, if it starts to detiorate to much in the aquaria than remove
