Hello all!! im new to this site and i just want to tell everyone how great it is to have a place like this to share and see other diy projects....

I do have one question though, I see alot of people on here building indoor ponds and some bigger plywood tanks using wood for the main support or "studs" in the walls of the tanks....is there any info on here about anyone using tube steel instead of wood. And if so pics would be great .thanks

Johnptc buld a pond from ABS plastice sheets. He supported the tank using a steel frame. For most people, wood is just cheaper and easier to work with. But there are quite a few people that know how to weld and make awesome stuff from metal/steel.

Find johnptc and look at his thread. That would be one example for you.
