Wood Question

Laminated pine, well, the only problem is that it can delaminate. Other then that it is great wood. In theory, the glue holding the wood together is stronger then the water pressure, I just would not trust it.

I did not read anywhere on the product description that this is laminated - looks like regular pine boards.

This would work, but not sure it is as strong as plywood, but if you are fiberglassing, probably not a problem. The Home Depot here in the US does some cutting for you. Usually the first cut or two is free and then they charge like $0.50 per cut. They are not precision cuts, but gets you to the rough size you need and easier to handle for transport.
