Wood safe for fish?

I would find a way to boil, bake, cook, fry ,sterilize and anything else I could think of to make it fish safe cause that is one awesome piece of wood..

i would boil the hell out of it then let dry for a few weeks. Then boil again.(This is only if the wood has chemical treatment.) Otherwise i would boil the hell out of it then let it soak for a few days.

I wouldn't touch it, I boiled 2 small pieces of moppi wood (sp) that was given to me, A good thing my new recent pickup was in his dip tank for the night (once he gets healed up i am hoping it's a Pseudopimelodus schultzi :headbang2 , either way it was a semi-free SA bumblebee catfish) I put the wood in with my convicts and in the AM both Con's along with 2 bristlenose were dead. The wood came from a lizard tank, boiled 3 times once over night in a SS stock pot on top of my wood stove...
