I bought a Silver Saum this past Monday and it paired up with my Gold GT and spawned. Here is a link to the new pickup from Monday, http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=174525&page=2 But, I was wondering what to do next? The eggs are in my SA/CA community tank. Should I take them out when they hatch or what? What will they look like since one is a silver and one is a gold? here are some pics of the eggs.

If they do survive?...try to scoop some up once they become free swimming and put into another tank with just a foam filter as most intakes and undergravel filters will take most out over time. Good Luck :)

Congrats, how large are the parents?

What kind of fish are in the "ca/sa community"? It all depends on the tank mates on whether or not the fry will live. They might not be good parents at all. If it were me I'd let the fry hatch and swim, pull a few if you want to keep them. Its up to you if you want to raise hybrid babies. I wouldn't raise more than 1-2 of them but its up to you. The fry won't be anything special since gold saums and silver saums are so closely related. You're just going to get the midas/red devil effect where you won't be able to tell what species it is. My opinion is, keep a few if you want another fish, but don't sell or give any away. When I end up with hybrids like that I feed them to my other fish as eggs or wrigglers, or I let them grow out and catch them around the 1" mark and give them to a responsible hobbyist who has a arowana to feed or something of that sort.

Hope it helps, let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for the advice.
