Finally I have the internet again. I've been without for two days now. All thanks to not paying attention during a water change lol. I was filling my tanks in the basement after draining and playing some Gran Turismo 3 when I looked over and noticed that the 75 was fuulllll, well my sink was still pumping water out. I didn't have time to go upstairs since it was about a milimiter away from overfilling lol. So I grabbed the hose put my thumb over it and tried to run it to my 125, well I wasn't able to hold my thumb on it when the hose got stuck on a chair:irked: and I accidentally shot water all over my modem :( But luckily they came out today and replaced it for free. I knew it was screwed though when I heard sizzling and little electronic noises. Pardon my technical jargon there :naughty:

LOL that was a funny picture i had in my head, i am sure many other fish keepers myself included have done stuff like this.
glad your sorted.

being an engineer I would have thought that you would have calculated the psi of the water and the clamping force that your hand could generate and so on.........

I'm a comedian!!!!!!!!!

hahaha thats pretty funny. i lost the internet for like 2 weeks over christmas, because of the earthquake in taiwan, that was seriously weeeeeeaakkkk.

He did..but he DIDN'T calculate the conductivity of that southside water...
I always have to back him up on that electrical stuff...

J/K ! :D

hell it's the truth. Well my finger was capable of holding the 60 psi but my thumb was not attached properly so when the hose caught the chair the seal between my thumb and the hose was broken. Oh yeah and I didn't trust my tank filler upper to withstand 60 psi for very long so I was in a large hurry so I wouldn't walk upstairs to find a rather large mess in the kitchen. Shoulda just left it goin and turned my basement into gigantic tank!!
