Wooo!!! A nice suprise at a lfs!!

I went to petstore nearby my university, which is out in the middle of nowhere, with the nearest other petstore an hour or two away, and just came in when they got new fish. I looked into "what is ussually a poor selection of fish", and saw two very colorful chanell catfish looking fish. I looked closer, and they were 2 skinny, but healthy spotted bullheads about 3 inches, so i purchased both, and have them in my room. Hopefully, they will thrive. They are very attractive little fish.

I wish, i do not have a digital camera with me, but i will see if i can borrow one.

I realize it is hard to share my excitement, when others cannot see the animal, but it was a nice fine (since now i have owned 3 different bullhead species).

Yup, in 3 weeks there will be some changes and moves in both my native tanks. Yeah, i couldn't get good pictures since they were pretty active.

Cool mud! I have a yellow bullhead I caught in a creek last spring.. It was less than two inches then.. Now he is like 7 or 8!!
