I just got hired as the aquatic CAS at the Petco right down the street from me... the title just means that I am in charge of the fish dept but nothin else... I found out many nice policies that the company has that if the employees actually followed would help the hobby out massively....

the right to refuse the sell of any animal aquatic or not to a customer that is not believed to be able to properly house and care for the animal.. every animal in the store is suppose to be checked once an hour (which they do not do with the fish now but will under my reign) any animal that looks sickly or not healthy is to be removed to the backroom untill fully healed or cured.. there are many more but these simple two would make life alot better if all employees followed them and had proper knowledge about the fish and other animals that they sell.....

you like that huh to bad I have no real power except on the employees under me.. but corporate is open to suggestions.. plus I will be able to chose what fish we order in so if more people buy the oddballs that I order in the more stuff like that I can get...
