So, I just got hired and start working at my favorite lfs this week. Any advice for somebody new to working at a pet store? (The store also sells reptiles, small animals, birds, puppies, etc. all of which I know fairly little about compared to my knowledge of fish) Thanks in advance

Write down a list of names of the animals and research them at home is the best I have never worked at a LFS too young just what I would do

Do your best to inform in a POLITE manor.
Research every animal your store sells if possible.
Get used to ignorance, the pet buisness is built on it. Stupid will come and go ALL DAY!

I never made much money while worked at one but it was the most enjoyable job that I've ever worked.
