Ok guys,
As peers have advised, I have been turning on/off the lights on a timed schedule to mirror day/night. At first, I covered my entire light with several punched holes, which uncovered can light up about 1/3 of the tank(positioned directly in the middle). After about two days, the pygos got used to the dimmed lights and didn't care for it. Each night after, I would punch bigger holes after I turn it off. It's about 1/3 covered now and hopefully... Slowly but surely they wont be able to notice anything once the lights are completely uncovered. Any other way you guys can recommend or is the method so far not too shabby? Lol my method is slowly tricking them hahaha. Deceitful is a great tool!
