I got hurt on the job and had to go to workmans comp dr. Got a call from the MEdical Review Officer sayig they found something in my tox screen. Turns out it was something i was prescribed for for sleep. Problem is that it was slightly "out of date" or expired i should say since its 2 months over a year old. It's not a prn, just for occasional insomnia. They said they would send my employer an positive ID (im a teacher). They said to go to my dr and have them write a note to the employer. My Dr. said he would. Could this cause me to lose my paycheck for workmans compensation? If so, this is complete bull ----. It was MY medicince, prescribed to ME. What do you guys/gals think?

If the accident was related to the medication you might be out of luck....they will blame you or your medication
