Just decided to give it a try and bought and I have had nothing but troubles installing..I ahve a brand new dell xps 630' pooter with 8gs of ram etc....Monsta pc Fo sho..
But I finally installed the disk in safemode and it worked but going from patch 2.3 or 2.4 to 3.0 I cannot get any further and I get this message..iM TIRED OF WASTING TIME WITH THIS GAME AND ABOUT TO GIVE UP..Absolutely ridiculous it had has taken this Long!!! I know there is somebody out there that had it and fixed it..

you wouldn't just buy a computer that good for wow though.

Have you tried the WOW Tech forums? I usually fixed any of my problems with some searching there. Maybe you need to update some drivers?
 
lol the WoW days are long long gone for me :)
hope you like it though.. you most likly will. just TRY not to get addicted lol.
