I don’t know if it’s high grade for sure, but bettas can get a pretty high price.

Plenty of bettas can be 150+. I wouldn't pay 75 for that. Maybe be 30. But im not a big betta person anyways.

I'm not surprised at the price. Beta can get expensive. I paid 150 for a pair years ago. Same goes for goldfish. Most people don't know they can get expensive. People just see regular cheap goldfish in their LFS for few bucks. And when a goldfish cost more than $50 people think no way goldfish can cost that much

I think the only reason this one is selling for so high us just do to the king bettas rarely having any sort of fin morph or color morph let alone both in one fish. Most kings I see for sale go for roughly $25-30 and they look closer toward their wild counterparts it's just that kings get allot bigger then most Bettas. Not certain on why that is, might be bred specifically for the size or it could be a form a gigantism but either way most, the I see, look very dull and boring looking.

$150 for a splendens. Sometime check out a macrostoma betta-A 4 inches with their color, males are drool worthy

Splendens and macrostoma are absurdly beautiful Bettas. I hope to get some for myself as some point. Those 2 are some of the only wild types that I think look better then the farmed morphs.
