worm things on bichirs heads

im not exactly sure what it is but there are these little worm things either growing out of my bichirs, 3" del and sen, heads on stuck on their heads. i turned the temp up a little. how do i get rid of these and are my bichirs gonna be ok, i just got them and i dont want them to die

Are they white and do they look stationary?

they look almost brown but they're so small i can hardly tell. they look stationary but the look like they're moving but i cant tell if its from water movement. they also seem to be under the jaw of my senegal and a few on his belly

Are you sure they're not external gills?

sounds like skin flukes. treat with jungle labs parasite clear at recommended dosage. I got some wild caught polys and they had this. Clears up after a day or so with the meds.

I used PraziPro, and they were all gone the next day.

no not external gills, my del still has his but these aren't gills. ill try the parasite tomorrow tomorrow

niche anti parasite works very well too, 3/4 dosage would kill all of the worms in half a day
