probably some form of tube worm there are literally 1,000s of kinds - either or coral rx

How do I get it off the rock? It has spread quite a bit, but the infected part is on a shell. Also, can I use half a dose of coral rx with half a gallon of water?

Well I guess they aren't worms, but a type of hair algea. I believe it is called bryosis or something like that and is nearly impossible to get rid of.
