I dont think its planaria, but I could be wrong. They are 1/2 inch, white and string like, almost like fibers and swimming (wiggling) through the water not crawling across the glass as I have seen the smaller planaria do. I just lost the last of my feeder danios. He was the only one left from our Green Terror's last feeding frenzy...lol One minute he was swimming along fine and then he went belly up. So, we did a massive water change (100%), scrubbed tank, changed filters, etc etc etc... set it back up and little worms are still in there dammit... Terror acting funny.. laying on the bottom of the tank, not swimming not eating... just laying there... I noticed that we also are getting planaria (as i recognize them). We will scale back feeding and keep doing water changes to get rid of those... We have had to do that before, in another tank... but these others concern me.
The Terror is about 6 or 7 inches in a 75 gallon with only a common pleco (and the occasional group of feeders) for company. Water quality is kept pristine with 50% changes weekly and 2 hang on the back filters both for 75 gallons... plant substrate but no plants as terror destroyed those...lol Now just ceramic driftwood pieces to hide under/behind and fake plants that he can toss around. Fed neons and danios on occasion instead of "feeders" as we heard these can carry alot of disease... cichlid pellets once a day and brine shrimp as an occasional treat...temp range is about 79-82...checked ph, ammonia, nitrites and nitrates. All were within appropriate ranges...
Please, any help would be appreciated! We really dont want to lose this guy... He has such a personality!
