Yesterday I was cleaning my tank and noticed that on the inside walls there are tiny wormlike things stuck to the wall. They are white and small like a hair and about 2 cm long. There is literally hundreds of them. Could someone please tell me what this is.

It is most likely planaria or nematodes. Both are completely harmless, but do tend to show up when there's excess food or waste in the substrate. Try doing more gravel vacuuming during your water changes and see if they go away.
