Worms!!!!!!! On my plants!!!!!

I just bought a dozen plants and eeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!! Theirs this huge 1" red worm on one of them! I have never found snails on their plants but OMG this microsword has thousands of snails! I can't pick them all off! Is it parasitic worm!!!!!!!!!!!"!"??????????????????

....looks like a black worm.fish love to nom them and they are common hitchhikers

Could be tubifex, very common in fertile substrate.
