Worms (please help)

My fish tank has some small red worms floating around it. They are clearly alive and move and they are about an inch long and very thin. What is this and what should I do?

feed your fish less food, to starve the worms, and do water changes every other day, to remove the worms.

word. fast your tank for a week and do daily water changes and gravel vacs.

clean out your filter media, also.
