Have you tested your water?
Yes
If I did not test my water...
  1. ...I recognize that I will likely be asked to do a test, and that water tests are critical for solving freshwater health problems.
Do you do water changes?
Yes
If I do not change my water...

ok so yesterday I did an 80%+ water change and cleaned Steve's tank .... thia morning I went to feed him and there are these little white worm looking things... i have taken Steve out put him in a freshly cleaned tank no substrate nothing except bubbler and a new filter ..... added ich med or rid ich or whatever it's called to his new temporary home.

so here's the kicker .... Rhonda FINALLY HAS LAYED EGGS THIS MORNING!!!!! and I cant put steve in there :( I'm so sad .... anyone near me have a male flowerhorn they want to stud out

Could just be detritus worms. Harmless.
That’s what I was thinking. They like to pop up after cleanings.
Could also be uneaten bloodworms. Happens in my puffer tank all the time.

Look like planaria a bit. Still harmless.
