Worst beating...

What's the worst beating your cat has recovered from? I have a 4" RTC that took on heck of a beating, lost most his tail and his head is pretty banged up, lost half a barbel. I've got him in a QT tank now. He's been in there for a couple days and is swimming around and eating already.

After almost 2 weeks of treatment his tail is almost completely grown back! Head completely healed and eating like a pig!! Feeding him night crawlers and beef heart.
