So anyways my main system is way overcrowded and I'm jut happy everything is still alive. Yet somehow my most unlikely female is pregnant again. She is the same age as all my other 3 females but almost died when I got her 3 years ago, and seems to have like a disc rot symtom on her disc since I got her. Yet het she is pregnant. So my question is.....
Do the weak females get pregnant before the strong ones?

Being the weaker female likely made her an easier target for a male. It doesnt seem as though males are picky when in the mood. A mature female is all they need. The others were probely able to put up more of a fight i would guess.

Maybe the disc rot you are seeing is the male chewing on her??
Thought at first maybe so but it has never completly gone away and was there when they were both too young to breed. Also it's near the front and not the back.

My male bites at my females disc alot lately... his claspers are not yet rolled but starting to... I dont think rays will bite a females disc just for mating purposes..

Forgive me for asking a question in your thread, but what doe the sentence about the claspers mean? I'm not familiar with the term "rolled"
