Mine was probably when a very bad fungal disease that took out my flowerhorn pair one day apart from each other.I tried many medicines, remedies, and other things to help but they still died!:OMG::bs:

Mine was when I introduced two wild caught cichlids into an established tank. Wiped out nearly everything. Some internal parasite or something, went from stringy white poo to then not eating at all. So lessen learned and I quarantine and treat all new fish for parasites before they go in my established tanks.

I bought a pair of big rays, the next day I lost power for 3 days. Fish all survived, but I think it weakened their immune systems and some horrible disgusting idk what ended up messing up my rays badly and after about a week long struggle I lost one. To this day I still have no clue what it was but they were huge boils all over the rays that would pop and grey stuff flaked off

This isn't a disease but I introduced 2 wild caught hybrid sunfish to my 40g community and it ate all of my swordtails, neons, and awesome hybrid goldfish (Calico, oranda, ryukin, doubletail, telescopes eye gold fish not those types but all of those types in one goldfish. They were awesome looking. The last fish they ate I saw it poking out of one of their mouths and it was my pregnant swordtail.Lets just say there new temporary friend was a flowerhorn pair......

Depends on species. My smallmouths simply could not cope with ick and were wiped out in just a few days, while a friends cow goby got fungus and was dead in less than 48 hours. I think internal worms are the worst. Rough on the fish, robbing them of the strength and nutrients they need to stay healthy, and very hard to cure
