i bought 3 Peacocock bass orinocensis from this guy... we agree on shipping FedEx. so i gave him a FedEx Hold on Location address (a FedEx distribution center address )

(Note : "HOLD ON LOCATION" at your area's distribution center is the best way to get the fish. they open early and your package is there to be pick up. I always use this method )

so this guy was running late... and he cant find a FedEx staffed place in his area. so he decided to ship UPS.

i was suprise that he was able to ship throu UPS. he told the people in there that he is shipping "WATER SAMPLE"

little does he realize that FedEX Hold on Location only works for FEDEX not UPS. because FedEX will not sign for this package.

i called UPS tell them to hold the package at their center. they tried, but the package is already on the truck and on the road. later that day Fedex refuse the package. and the fish is riding on truck all day riding on mess-up road of DC.

UPS called told me to go the UPS center around 730pm to pick up the package. i went there and wait and waited till the truck came back. i didnt get the package till 830pm

Lucky 1 peacockbass died ... or i will have that guy's head off

here are some reason maybe it cause it

1. the water is abit low and abit smelly

2. the water is abit warm

3. on the road all day stress

4. i think they fought in the bag

5. the air is low (use more rubberband)

ohh the fish look it just died! so if he didnt switch from FedEX to UPS. the fish will be all be alive...

BUT its COOL... since its his first time shipping fish... and he went to a scuba store to get some O for them

what bought low O2 and ammonia poisoning?

Sounds like a severe lack of time management on his end. Had he not shipped fish before?
Good luck with the other 2!
