my lfs large show tank sprung a leak, im not sure about gallons, its 8' long, 30'wide and 30" deep, anyway they are selling for 500, need to be resealed which im pretty good at. is it worth it, comes with lids
 
Glass? If so it's easy to reseal if the structural part is intact.
 
That tank is 374 gallons and is worth the $500. If it's acrylic, you'll need one of the Weld-on acrylic bonding agents (rplastics.com) since silicone doesn't bond well to acrylic. If it's glass, aquarium silicone sealer will work fine. Trim away the surface bead and clean the entire seam with alcohol (to remove oils) before applying the new bead.

yeah go down to like 300 cause its cracked..and that thing is really heavy..

I wouldn't give them more then 300 for it.

Remember that they will have to find someone that is willing to take the chance that it can't be fixed.

If a new tank is 800 it's not worth saving 300 to take the chance.
