Worth the buy? Help.

Im going to pick up this little guy this week and wanting to make sure I'm getting a good price and he is what I’m told he is. This will be my first datnoid. I’m told he’s an Indo datnoid and I’m buying him for $50 USD. Any imput from more experienced keepers of them and any advice?

$10 per inch is normal on the west coast. Seems a bit more everywhere else for indos. $50 is a fair price if not seen often in your area.
