Wot temp do u guys keep ur tropical fish?

Hi I was just wondering wot temp people keep there fish at and if keepinf cichlids at a lower temp would stop mating aggression

I keep my tanks at room temp, don't even own a heater but then again I live on Maui.

I try to keep mine at about 78 but living in Orlando makes that a challenge. Sometimes creeps up to 81-82 in the summer and yes, lower temps definitely helps with aggression issues for me

I try to keep it around 79-80. If I am adding new fish i'll temporarily bump it to 81-82 to avoid any outbreaks of ich.

The general rule of thumb is that higher temps lower dissolved oxygen and lower temps raise the risk of ich.
