Looing to buy a few more fish to lived up my 72g tank.

Was wondering if any of these fish would be ok in there with a 6'-7' Delhezi bichir..?

- Jade Goby
- BGK (Black Ghost Knife)
- Tiki Jack Dempsey
- Pike Cichlid
- Bushnose Pleco (Bristlenose pleco?) (My LFS has it listed as Bushnose Pleco)
- E. B. Alhi

Keep in mind im not goign to add them ALL, maybe two of the list if they are compatable with the Bichir.. I am epecially interested in the Jade Goby.

These are just some of the fish i may be interested in adding. They are listed here as they were in the store, if the name is incorrect, don't blame me.

I havent bought any yet, wanted you guys' approval first.

I know plecos have a tendacy to suck the slime coat from bichirs, but i am willing to add the bristlenose(bushnose) in with the bichir, as i have heard/seen nothing but good news about them being together.

So...?

6 to 7 foot bichir? oh wow, that things huge.

Anyways, i happen to have two ornate bichirs living with two bristlenose plecos and a jade goby. i have a BGK too that i will add when its bigger. the BGK may be a bad idea though, as they grow extremely slow and unless they are larger than the bichir, they will become food.

my plecos and bichirs don't even acknowledge each other. Both are also extremely well fed though.

Jade goby's are awesome. Had a huge one a few years back, recently got a new one.

lol whoops.. 6"-7".. sorry.. yea, should get pictures of him, be a world record.. I really liked the jade Goby, are they very agressive, whats thier diet, etc?

My first one was extremely lazy. Just sat at the bottom, would eat only if food floated in front of him. Id often see snails crawling on it. My new one is super active and very agressive towards my SA cichlids... though he just gets ignored cuz he's so small compared to everything else I have. Imagine a fat kid attacking an elephant. He eats anything and everything.

My biggest problem is the Jade Goby trying to eat the bichir. The bichir is still small, as in thin, but long, would the goby try anything?

Also would it be better the get 2-3 of them, or just 1?

don't know about the pleco. some say they are not good for bichirs.

Go for the BGK. Although I don't owe them personally, my friend does.
I've been to his house and seen thme living peacefully together.

the only one i have a particular issue with is the pike, some of the large pikes can be aggressive. I've kept senegal and ornate bichirs with belly crawler pike with no issues.
