I resent ly lost my female trimac and am considering doing just a large c/a com tank what i would be keeping is as follows 1 male trimac 1 male white midas, 1 red devil female, 1jag male or female depending on what hapens with the 4 juvys i have, 1 pair of cons, 1pair of salvinis and a school of 4 tinfoilbarbs and a pleco will this work with oversized filtration and massive water changes

yes. although there may be trouble with aggression with the trimac and midas/RD' but it should be fine.

I would pass on the females. Go with an all male tank.
that would be a better idea but if the femles are neccesary this would be o.k but if there were no females, there would likely b less aggression soo i think this is a better idea, and p.s why would u want a female jag?? get a male!!

they are juvenile jags i am hopping 4 a male an all male tank would be cool but i think my orange and white r/d is a female and she has awesome color

so get her a 90 of her own if she's that awsome. cause in that tank she just might not make it. imo. the all male sounds better to me. less sexual tension.

With all females you have the possibility of 2 females "pairing" and causing havoc...happens with various cichlids (cons etc).

I'd think the female midas might pair with one of the males (trimac would be the closest relative) and spawn, and chaos would ensue.

It would be big enough but possible aggression issues obviously. I would be worried about the trimac male midas male and rd female.
