i am either going to have a 180g or 150g, pushing for a 180g 6' here in about 9 months max. The tankmates would be 3 oscars, 1 green terror, 1 jack, 2 convicts, 1 acara, 1 salfin pleco. Would he be ok in that set up. I am looking to get one soon to start growing out. how big do they get? what other advice or info do you have? my ph is a steady 8.3, is this ok for them?

You posted this in the cichlid section with reference to the below fish.

I'm pasting reply here as well.

QUOTE:

The fish have been positively identified now Honda.
They are Leporellus vittatus.

Here's a photo of one in my office tank that contains a frontosa, blue dempsey, red severum, leucistic Honduran red point, clown loaches, Distichodus sexfasciatus, and some catfish.

It's very active and I really enjoy seeing it in there.

Below is photo of the fish in my tank, plus two other photos from the internet of larger individuals.
Appears that they will develop some head spotting as well.
