Would a pleco eat the slime coat?

I have a shoal of 5 gulpers in a 90g. My 15inch pleco is being picked on by my rose queen in a 220g. The largest gulper is about 9 inches and the smallest is about 5inches. Would the pleco try and eat the slime coat of the smaller gulpers? I only ask because when I first got my rose queen he was about 4 inches and the pleco would chase him and it looked like he aas trying to latch on yo him. Now the rose queen is about 7-8inches and constantly picks on the pleco--revenge? Lol

I doubt the gulpers would stay still long enough for a pleco to do that. I'd think they would chase him out of there pretty quickly if he tried.

I never thought of my gulpers trying to eat my pleco, I guess it's possible but that would suck.. Thanks

They would only eat the slime coat if they arent feed I have seen it once and it was at aquarium shop when I told them the guy dropped in alga sinker and pleco left fish alone
