hi,i owned 2 silver dats for a couple of week approx 3 months ago.i took them back to the lfs because my tank was way overstocked.i have trimmed my tank right down and am looking to add some mid dwelling fish.would a silver dat fit in with what ive got in the tank at the moment

100 gallon
1 x 9" senegal
1 x 5" delhezi
1 x 5" ornate
1 x 6" sveni pike cichlid
1 x 6" hepstus odoe

could i add one,or,do you think the pike cichlid would take a dislike to it????

the odoe stays mailnly at the top of the tank and the rest stay at the bottom,so,im looking for 1/2/3 fish that would fit in with what ive got.

as stated above.my tank was way overstocked, and,at the time, the dats were my last addition so they were the fish i was least attached to.if not a dat,any other suggestions????

unless you absolutely wanted a Dat I'd go for Silver Dollars-they'll bring a lot of activity. Otherwise get your Silvers back

I generally like a lot lower stocking levels than your talking about here, especially with fish that are certian to eventually outgrow a 100g tank.

Hobbyiests tend to form two camps. Some of us view the tank as a home for our fish while others think of it more as an apartment building with constantly changing tenents.
