My lfs is selling baby warm water White Sturgeons about 3 1/2in. long, and I'm considering buying one except im not sure if it would be compatible in my tank. Mainly the only thing im worried about is my 12in. Marble Catfish, I already feed it feeder goldfish that are about 2in. and nightcrawlers about 6in. long and I'm worried it might just feel like going up a size in food. What do you think?:nilly:

If they're white sturgeons, they don't like warm water. If it is really well oxygenated, temps. up into the low 70s might not kill them right away, but it's not really worth the risk. Don't even consider keeping them at tropical temps.

Well the people at the fish store called them "white sturgeon" but the thermometers on the tank said it was at 78degrees and they were swimming happily

^agreed not worth it

mk thanks
