would a 8" bichir try and eat my 4 giant danio??

If you mean 4" then shouldn't be a problem if you have a senegal as mine is 8" and with 2 3" fish without incident.

A senegal no. A thicker type of bichir...maybe. Doubtful though.

I'm going to say he'd try, but giant danios are too fast for chase predators. If he manages to ambush it, maybe. But I'd keep giant danios with pretty much anything without too much fear of losing them all.

would the Bichir try? yeah.. ime they try and eat anything that looks edible.. lol. But are they likely to catch a danio? Not likely.
