Would an FX5 work for...

4 Chichla Ocellaris about 7-8 inches in a 180 gallon for a month or so. I have them growing out in my 50 and would eventually turn in into a sump. Its all glass though so I gotta get crafty. Thoughts?

A FX5 with all three trays of bio media will work on a 180gal tank with that 55gal as a sump. Bass are not that wasteful of food ( not like oscars expelling food from their gills), but when given the chance, bass can and will eat a boat load of food. Good circulation of water and clean water is a must.

Cool so fill the FX5 with Bio Media it is then. What do you suggest I put in the 50 gallon to make it as good as possible?

Sometimes I wish one you experts on here lived close Id pay you all to just get it running lol Thanks for all your help. When the time comes Ill be asking alot of questions Im sure. My 180 is gonna be full of water so I cant drill I will have nowhere to house the bass thats why its gonne be tricky to make a sump. Or atleast more expensive
