Where the gators are
So i have a roughly 13 inch male bowfin that ive been thinking about selling. Ive had this guy for a few months now and im just worried about keeping him with my RTC. I just dont feel comfortable with it, my RTC means to much to me and dont want him to get hurt. The bowfin is currently with a 4 inch flowerhorn. Havent been able to get him on pellets yet but has ate baitfish and tilapia chuncks. Just wondering if anyone would possibly want him. But im not puttin him up for sale for a little bit.

you can see his face got a bit scratched.(from my net transporting him) its healing up really nice though.

I saw at the bottom of your post where youv'e listed your fish and now understand your worries...Your RTC is only seven inches so it just might find itself in the bowfins jaws one of these days.

how much does that fish normally cost? i'm interested in getting one.

at 10" snookn21 had then for $50. But i contacted the FWC (Florida's DNR) and i cant sell it without a permit so i have to give him away, but i already have someone interested.

i bought him at 6" for 15 though. then i found out i can catch them so if i ever want another ill just go out and get one next time lol
