Here's a pic of my male Leo .
He's got these little white spots on him. At first there was just a few, almost unnoticeable, but now they're really getting bad.
He's about 7 months old and is about 8 to 9 inches now. He shares the tank with a female.
He eats great and is very active. I don't think they're parisites. I haven't introduced any new to the tank and i run a UV.
Would anyone have an idea?

I know I had this issue with my blacks and talked to several others who have. Mine and some of the others noticed them when we did large water changes, they went away in a few days. Yours appears to be the same type of white spotting. They occured when pups but no longer an issue with mine. My male never had this happen and the females did but one more than the other.
How long have they had them and have you noticed them come and go. If so when do they appear and disappear?

They do seem to change. Sometimes more then sometimes less. I've noticed them in the last 3 or 4 months. But never this bad

What is your water change regimen? Pay attention as to when they seem to decrease and increase. Mine would increase right after doing a large WC then decrease over a few days then totally disappear most times. Sometimes they never got them, it was weird.
How is your params? As long as they are eating well and their behavior is good don't stress it.
Like I said try to pay attention to when they appear or disappear. You will then be able to see if it is from the water change. Try doing smaller WC and more frequently and see if that helps.

My dip strips were wrong. I had the water tested at my local fish store and the nitrate was high and the ph was low. So i did a 50% wc monday and I'm going to have the water checked again today.
Scary! I guess 40% wc a week isn't enough

What were the nitrates? And such? Sounds like you need to buy a real test kit.

Nitrates were between 120 and 180 And ph fell from 7.8 to 6.5
I'm running 2 Fx5 s. And theres only 2 leo pups in there
New test kit a must!
