:eek: 6 feet or more in length and up to a foot in width. Possessing strong, fang-like teeth. These are unequal in size and set in sockets in the jaws on the roof of the mouth.

it sure would be sweet.
but the cost of owning and maintaning its tank itself would be monstrous
 
I would love to be able to have a some. It is just too hard think how big a tank/pond you would need. They are fast swimmers, active, saltwater, very long, and etc. I can only think of possibly, one of those huge tanks that places like Ripleys Aquarium's shark tanks.
 
I used to have one. He was a great fish and very very active. He used to live in a 500G tank. Once he out grew it i gave him to the local aquarium.
 
Those are beautiful! I saw one when I was snorkling the Grand Cayman's it was scary!

i catch those all the time down at the piers here...not that big more like a foot long and a few inches thick...
 
I know a place that sells some. I was in shock! I didn't think you could keep one of these guys.
 
Probably not the amount of swimming space it would need would be alot, and then you have to feed it...
 
if it only got about 10" i would keep it. that would be awesome
