Would Arowanas be a good beginner Monster class?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
No.

Keeping arowana takes a commitment of time and money. Actually there is no "beginner" monsterfish. Keep fish that you want to keep for your enjoyment, not because it gives you the badge of "Monsterfishkeeper"

My question was more along the lines of "Would Aros be ok for anyone who hasn't had a single monster tank in his life till that point?"

But yes, people keep what they want because they like the fish, so what they may perceive to be "easy" may be difficult or moderate for others.

I would say that any hardly fish is good for beginner, arowana's are hardly fish so yes why not?
maybe they do grow huge but if someone has money to keep them then why not?
