Would Clown loaches School with Botia loaches?

I have 2 5 inch botia loaches and I am looking to purchase 4 or more clown loaches at 2-3 inches. I would like to know whether they would school together in a 135 gallon tank?

Botia loaches? What species exactly? Clowns are also botias. They won't school together but they'll get along depending on the species. I wouldn't advise mixing them though with Yasuhikotakia modesta, Syncrossus sp. and Y. morleti.

It totally depends on which species. Clown Loaches, kubotais, Yoyos, Histrionicas and Rostratas all shoal together in my tank when they are the same or similar size. Other Botiine loaches may not.

Why would it not be good to mix with Yasuhikotakia modesta
