since im too poor to buy driftwood at 50 dollars for a large peice that is about three feet tall. i was wondering if anybody would know if you could take driftwood from a pond. help

after you found a large, 3 foot tall pot.
or, you can pour boiling water over it and scrub it down and/or soak in a 1:10 bleach:water solution.
you can definitely use the wood as long as you prep/clean it right. and as long as it's not a chewed up piece of wood with holes and tunnels that can hide bad things from your bleach, you'll be good to go.
