My friend told me that once my tigershovelnose and hybrid red tail grow bigger it could bite it's tankmate which is the gar and endi.I need an expert opinion,would it really bite?

It will try to eat anything that fits in its mouth if it gets hungry. Or bored. Or annoyed. They do grow very quick and have large mouths.
