im thinking of puting in a 4 or 5 foot pond in my basement it would be about 3 feet deep and be a circle my question is about stocking tell me if you think this will work
1 black arowana
1 clown knife
1or2 lima shovel nose catfish
1 common pleco
1gar mabye spotted
dat of some kind (make a suggestion)
ok is this over stocked if not what else will work and how should i decorate the pond any help if appreciated

I make that to be roughly 1,500 gallons. So your stocking should be well under its potential if you filtrate to the volume. On problem I see though is your depth. You won’t see much of the most of your fish (except the arowanas) at the depth…

ok i havent made it i can make it like 2feet or less so i had no idea how many gallons it would be but by the sound of that how about like 3 black arrows 3 clown knife dats 3lima shovelnose or mabye TSN and gars and something else also im going to filter it with a box filter or two

I dunno i think even the first list is to much. Its alot of water but not much surface area. At it widest point its only 4x4 or 5x5 which isnt that big for 2 (gar and aro) big top dwellers. Cant spotted gars and aros get nearly 4'? Cant say ide want even a 3' fish in a 4' wide tank.
